3D Sketching.


Today at technology we had done some 3D sketching with miss Ferguson. After that miss Ferguson had given us an isometric grid and a big piece of paper and we learnt about oblique and isometric and we drawed some 3D shapes with the grid and the piece of paper that she had gave me.

Loud Shirt Day.

Loud shirt day is celebrating the deaf people and celebrating their uniqueness and support them by dressing up on the 23rd of september and it also supports all of the kiwi kids. We have two kids in our class and their names are Faith she wears hearing aids and Falakiko and he also wears hearing aids and on the 23rd on friday room 10 are celebrating the loud shirt day on friday and we get to come in mufti and you can wear a sombrero, onesies, and you can also wear a bright coloured shirt. Loud shirt day is to support and help people that are deaf and cannot hear.

Water safety poster.

Capital Letters.


Last October, my family and I visited the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. It was very exciting seeing the balloons fly through the New Mexico sky every day. The fiesta began on a Saturday morning and lasted for two weeks. The Autumn air was crisp each morning as balloons shaped like Darth Vader, clocks, and sleeping beauty sailed by. My dad worked at the Fiesta helping Matt Park campers in the lot. People would come from as far as Canada to see these great balloons. The best part about the whole trip was that my whole family got a ride in a hot air balloon. Tim was our pilot and he flew us over albuquerque 600 feet in the air. We could see places like Mcdonald's and hobby lobby! We plan to head back to New Mexico next October. Maybe we will see you there!

Today in The Life Education van it was our last session with the Life Education and Harold and Nicole. We learnt about making the right decisions/choices. When it was in the middle of the time for Harold we had done the clap game, for example when Nicole said a number we had to clap the  number she said, and then after that we done this other activity and it was talking about what things we liked and who could help us with the things we liked and then after that we had saw Harold before we left.

Being different is ok because it will be boring. For example if we were all the same it would be boring because we would sound, look and think the same and even dress the same it would all be boring and there would be no fun.

My next reason why i think it is ok to be different is because i think that it will be cool. For example, if i was walking around with my sister and there was someone with the same clothes as her i would get mixed up and then i might grab the wrong person and thinking that she would be my sister and then i would take the wrong person home and then my sister would still be by herself.

My most important reason why i think that it is wrong to fight is because fighting can cause major injuries.
I think that because if there is a fight on the street, for example me and my sister, and we are walking and then we see some people and they block the whole foot path and then they start to bash me and my sister. Another example of this is that when people fight they can break a bone and then they will have to go to the hospital and they will have to get surgery and then they have will probably have to stay in hospital overnight it will depend on how bad it is.

My second reason is that fighting does not set a good example for the younger generation of today. For example some little kids walk by and they see people fighting and then they might think that it is good to fight, then they might go to school the next day and start to fight with the other kids and then the other kids might copy them. When young people see adults fight it sends a message to them that fighting is ok but it’s not.

My third reason is that fighting is bad. I think that fighting should have not been invented and that no one should be fighting in their generations. I think that when people fight it can scare some kids but some kids are probably used to, it might not want to make them walk by themselves again. That is why i think that fighting is bad and that no one  should learn or see it happen.
