Protect means keeping safe.

Foreshore is a the part of a shore that is between the high and low water marks.

Snorkel
A snorkel is used for people that go under the water and they can still breath while they are still under the water.

Emergency means a dangerous situation requiring immediate action.

Unprotected means that you are not protected and the you will not be safe.

The flower thrived from all the water.

The meaning of the name Tangaroa means the god of the god of fire.
Tangaroa is the great god of the sea.

seafood.
My dad brought a whole bag of kaimoana home.
Pauā
Paua is a seafood in a shell that you can eat.
Paua is native to New Zealand, whose shell is used to make jewelry.
Waiata
Waiata is a maori song.
At school we sung a waiata for our visitors.
